I moved to California from Warsaw Poland following a passion for English language and an interest in learning about other cultures. Shortly after arriving in U.S., I began pursuing another passion - media - and graduated with a degree in journalism from California State University, Fullerton. By that time, I also had experience in editing and page design.
My news and feature stories have been published in Orange County Register and its various publications, including The Wedding Book, OC Post and Squeeze OC website.
Then an opportunity to learn about TV production presented itself so I learned writing scripts while also appearing on a local cable show. That led to a job as a producer for a morning show on KDOC-TV, followed by work for E! News International where my interest in pop culture and fashion was perfectly justified as professional research.
I believe that a positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure are just as important as any other skills I learned in school and on the job.
I am now looking for the next adventure in the world of media and communications.
